When I was 10 years old, I had a friend who was a professional surfer. He would show up to a family party at the beach, and everyone would be so excited to have him there. I had never met him before, but we exchanged the occasional “hi” and “good luck”. Then, when the party was over, he suddenly turned and went to the other side of the room, leaving the family with a big, blank look.
I don’t think anyone was terribly surprised by this. Of course, the surfer was still there, and he had left him no message. So why didn’t he just tell us he had no idea where he was? I guess he didn’t think we’d care, and he wasn’t going to say anything to us either.
I guess I should go back to the beginning and tell you that your brother Nick is coming over. And I’m not going to tell you why.
Nick is an amnesiac who is a part of Blackreef’s group of Visionaries. He has no memory of how he got there and no memory of anything that happened before or after. In fact, he does not seem to remember much of anything. He is a member of the Blackreef family, but he is not related to Colt. He is very tall, very thin, and has a very big forehead.
Nick is in fact a member of the Blackreef family. His name is Nicholas Blackreef, and he used to be a part of the Visionaries, and he is the second-best and most dangerous fighter in the group (after Colt). He was born in Texas, but grew up in Florida, where he was raised by his family. After Nick’s parents died, he was adopted by his aunt and uncle.
Black is an amnesiac who has been on Deathloop for years. When he wakes up, he’s not remembering anything about his past. We don’t know where he’s been, how he got here, and what his friends are. He has no recollection of anyone in his life.
Deathloop is a part of the Visionaries, but we don’t know where it is. We do know that if we kill the Visionaries, Colt is going to be stuck on the island forever. This is because he has a vision of the island’s future, and the Visionaries are going to be trying to take advantage of it.
